Who are you ?
Sabrine Sayari, I’m 32 years old, I work in Lille and I’ve been working at Proges Plus for 5 years and 7 months exactly !
What is your background before joining Proges Plus ?
I started at OVH, on the Tunisian site and then the French site. I was in charge of the maintenance of the dedicated servers for VIP customers. I then had the opportunity to continue at the Crédit Agricole, within the Technologies Pole : I ensured the stability of the infrastructure and the application availability within the framework of an important migration project ! After that I worked for Atos Worldline in a team whose mission was to secure payments on the checkout servers of a major retailer. After this mission, I joined Proges Plus and I’ve had the chance to work there for more than 5 years now !
What is your role within Proges Plus ?
I am part of the team that handles the urgent and unplanned maintenance of our clients’ ERP data. This is a key service of the company : the team ensures the smooth running of Synoptic at the customer’s premises. A good ERP is nothing without good maintenance!
When I take charge of a request I am present from A to Z, from the first call to the closing of the ticket. The maintenance team is also involved in the continuous improvement process : we are in direct contact with the customer, which gives us a privileged position to understand their way of using the ERP and to pass on suggestions, internally, to improve our solution.
Why did you choose to join the Synoptic ERP team and more particularly the maintenance department ?
Because I love a challenge ! In this department I am confronted, every day, with different, sometimes complex requests, and I have to respond quickly and efficiently !
My days are busy and always different. I also appreciate the fact that our clients work in various fields of activity : this allows me to discover new professions or new professional practices !
What’s a typical day for you ?
My first assignment when I arrive in the morning is to make sure that everything is fine with our customers. If I spot the slightest problem, thanks to our preventive maintenance tools, I take the lead before the customer even calls. That saves us a lot of time ! I then check my e-mails and organize my interventions according to their degree of urgency. I remain vigilant ! I act as quickly as possible, I correct incidents and I send a full explanation e-mail to the customer concerned. Everything is very transparent.
During a day I also communicate a lot with the whole team so that we can divide the tasks or discuss the requests received. Having a good team to manage such a service is very important and we are lucky to have a great team ! We really support each other on a daily basis and I think that this can be felt with our clients. I’ve already had chocolates or even champagne as a thank you ! It makes you smile !
What do you like most about your daily work ?
What I like most is the challenge. I am never bored, I always have something new to learn and discover !
What kind of feedback do you usually get from customers who contact the maintenance department ?
They are satisfied ! In the last 5 years I have never had any negative feedback. We never leave a request unanswered and we give our all to ensure continuity of service on the customer’s side at all times !
In your experience, what distinguishes this service from the competition ?
I think it’s the extent of our expertise that allows us to intervene in very specific areas of activity. It’s also a service that is constantly evolving and today we intervene as a complement in Sage accounting and BI (business intelligence or decisional computing).
An ongoing project ?
I’m learning BI development ! I know the customers, their problems, their data. All this knowledge allows me to better understand how this tool works.
